Celebrity Cruises opens transatlantic cruise bookings
Travelers wanting to “cross the pond” in the comfortable sophistication of a Celebrity Cruises vessel have eight dates from which to choose.

Miami - (April 11, 2007 ) - Travelers wanting to “cross the pond” in the comfortable sophistication of a Celebrity Cruises vessel have eight dates from which to choose. Today, the top-rated line opened bookings for transatlantic voyages in 2008. A repositioning cruise from Cape Liberty, New Jersey to Fort Lauderdale, Florida also opened today.

Transatlantic bookings are largely grouped to take place in the spring and fall of next year:

 

Spring 2008

 

  • Celebrity Summit will sail a 12-night eastbound transatlantic itinerary departing San Juan, Puerto Rico on March 29, 2008, arriving in Southampton, England on April 10, with stops in Ponta Delgada, Azores; Vigo and Gijon, Spain; and La Rochelle and Cherbourg, France.
  • Celebrity Constellation will sail a 13-night eastbound transatlantic itinerary out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida on April 11, 2008, arriving in Harwich, England on April 24, with an overnight stay in King’s Wharf, Bermuda, and stops in Cork, Ireland; and Brest, Normandy, and Cherbourg, France.
  • Celebrity Quest, the 710-guest ship joining the line’s fleet in October 2007, will sail a 14-night transatlantic eastbound itinerary departing Miami, Florida on April 12, 2008 and arriving in Civitavecchia, Italy on April 26. During the voyage, Celebrity Quest will call on Ponta Delgada, Azores; Malaga, Alicante, and Menorca, Spain; and Bonifacio, Corsica.
  • The recently revitalized Celebrity Century will sail a 14-night eastbound transatlantic itinerary out of Miami, Florida on April 28, 2008, arriving in Amsterdam, Holland on May 12, calling on Nassau, Bahamas before an overnight stay in King’s Wharf, Bermuda, and additional stops in Cornwall, England; Paris, France; and Dover, England.

 

Fall 2008

 

  • Celebrity Constellation will sail a 14-night westbound transatlantic itinerary departing Barcelona, Spain on September 9, 2008, arriving in Cape Liberty, New Jersey on September 23. Ports of call include Malaga, Spain; Marrakech, Morocco; and Cadiz, Spain before an overnight stay in Lisbon, Portugal, and additional stops in Ponta Delgada, Azores and St. John’s, Newfoundland.
  • Celebrity Summit will sail a 14-night westbound transatlantic itinerary out of Barcelona, Spain on November 29, 2008, arriving in San Juan, Puerto Rico on December 13, with stops in Malaga, Spain; Madeira, Portugal; Lanzarote, Tenerife, and La Palma, Canary Islands; and Philipsburg, St. Maarten.
  • Celebrity Century will sail a 14-night westbound transatlantic itinerary out of Barcelona, Spain on December 1, 2008, arriving in Miami, Florida on December 15, with stops in Cartagena, Spain; Gibraltar; Marrakech and Agadir, Morocco; and Lanzarote and La Palma, Canary Islands.
  • Celebrity Galaxy will sail a 14-night westbound transatlantic itinerary departing Civitavecchia, Italy on December 5, 2008, arriving in San Juan, Puerto Rico on December 19, with calls on Marrakech and Agadir, Morocco; Lanzarote, Tenerife, and Santa Cruz, Canary Islands; and Tortola, British Virgin Islands.

 

Celebrity also opened bookings today for an 11-night Bermuda and Caribbean repositioning cruise on Celebrity Constellation, departing Cape Liberty, New Jersey on October 30, 2008, arriving in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on November 10, with an overnight stay in King’s Wharf, Bermuda and stops in Philipsburg, St. Marten; Oranjestad, Aruba; and Labadee, Haiti.
