The 2009 Wilton Yearbook is a great source of ideas for all levels of bakers making cakes for every possible occasion. Wilton publishes a yearbook every year with new ideas to keep up with the most popular characters, celebration themes and new products. For example, there is a special 20 page section featuring 3-D desserts. This section has pictures of cakes shaped like dinosaurs, robots and dollhouses. New products in this yearbook include the Wall-E cake pan, Wall-E cake toppers, a giant cupcake cake pan and footed silicone baking cups. There are also many classic cake ideas such as teddy bear, flower and dinosaur cakes. The yearbook includes cake, cupcake and cookie ideas for occasions such as holidays, birthdays, graduations, baby showers and weddings.
The yearbook is essentially a catalog of Wilton cake decorating products. Although the yearbook has numerous cake ideas, there are even more products and ideas on the Wilton website. For instance, there is a larger variety of Sesame Street and Disney cake pans on the website. The yearbook only depicts the newest and most popular party themes. It is not a complete catalog of all Wilton products.
The yearbook has countless pictures of cakes. Along with each picture, there is a list of pans, tools, decorations, recipe names and instructions for creating the cake. The list is basically a shopping list for everything you need to bake the desired cake along with the instructions describing how to assemble and decoratethe cake. The accompanying instructions are relatively easy to follow depending on the experience of the baker. (Beginners may need to learn and practice basic cake decorating techniques.)

The icing on the cake! I love this product. It makes it very easy to decorate the sides of my cakes so they look fabulous. I am not the most creative person- and my cakes often show it- not anymore! My only complaint, although minor, is that you have to add a fairly thick layer of thinner consistency icing for the tool to work easily. Otherwise it pulls the edges right out of the holder. Once I discovered this trick I was very pleased!

Tips for all Traits The tips for cake decorating is wonderful. To offer them at this price is also wonderful. I really like the idea of shopping from home. I don't know anyone here and don't know my way around. I love to bake cakes and decorate them and so to try to find places to buy this tips and bags is very hard. You make it so easy for me to enjoy something I like to do. The tips come so that you can make a array of designs on your cake and other foods like crackers.

Wilton Icing Color This food coloring works great. It's the paste kind, which really does color better, more vibrantly and wastes less than any other kind. Also, it comes with an extensive color palette, which inspires you to do better cake decorating (I think.) Strangely enough, it even comes with brown and black. Also, this works for more than just icing. I'm an arts and crafts director at a summer camp, and we use this stuff to tine salt dough, dye paper... you name it.

Una herramienta que no debe faltar.. Me gusta mucho la respostería, yreconozco que para hacer buenos trabajos hay que comprar muchas herramientas menudas, que antes tenía de forma desorganizada. Ocupaba mucho espacio, y no siempre encontraba lo que necesitaba con la rapidez que quería. Con esta nueva caja de Wilton he solucionado todos esos problemas.
Este tool caddy, además de bonito esta muy bien pensado y diseñado. Arriba tiene los espacios para las boquillas (tips), puedo guardar de una manera organizada los colorantes, las mangas de decorar, en fin todas mis herramientas.

Informative, easy to use. I'm definitely a beginner in cake decorating and wondered if a book would be enough to get started. I ended up ordering this DVD anyway and I'm so glad I did. It's very easy to use (each lesson is only a couple of minutes, easy to watch a few at a time) and full of helpful tips that I don't think I would have found in books alone.

Does the job For my small kitchen, this cooling rack set is wonderful. Three times as many breadsticks or cookies or crackers can cool in the same counter space.
The three racks can be used separately as well as stacked, another bonus.
They're not the sturdiest or biggest racks ever, but they do the job.
