This in-depth guide is written for the Professional Hedonist, the guy who knows exactly what he wants, is willing to pay for it, and likes to spoil himself rotten. If you love exotic tropical excursions with Golf, Deep Sea Fishing, Casinos, and sexy young girls who always say yes, this book is for you. You'll learn the how and the where to go for all your sports activities, as well as meeting your uninhibited "dates", with the low down on the club procedures, pricing and terminology, and local updated websites w/maps and details. Red Light Districts, Brothels, full service nude strip clubs, massage parlors, outcall escorts, horny locals, beach play toys, whatever your preference, it's all here...complete with reviews, addresses, phone numbers, and first hand field reports. Included is a must-read 30 pages of Sex Tourism 101 advice on mastering the games and psychology of the local women you'll meet. This is the taboo Bachelor's Vacation Guide that we've all been waiting for, without a single politically correct word in it. All in all, a fantastic resource, packed with info you can't find anywhere else, over 200 pages of extensive, concise, well-researched advice. A real time and money saver. Why settle for anything but the best, and why gamble on hopes. Bet on the sure thing. The girls are waiting... Reviews: A review by The Rain Though the book is a little dated, based on the author assessment of Rio de Janeiro, a place I frequent. I realize the author knew what he was talking about and not third party hear say, I would be inclined to go to some locales in his book that I never ventured to before, just on the strength of that book look for a good time with no one to show me around or hold my hand unlike when I when to Rio & Bahia Brazil for the first time. The most important thing for a single guy on vacation is someone to show him where the action at. Knowledge is power and access especially in a foreign country compounded with not speaking the language.

Description:Book DescriptionInsight Guide Puerto Rico includes a section detailing Puerto Rico's history, 8 features covering the island's life and culture, ranging from its exuberant festivals to its carved religious figures, a region by region visitor's guide to the sights, and a comprehensive Travel Tips section packed with essential contact addresses and numbers. Plus 15 maps and many amazing photographs. Reviews: A review by Luis Hernandez Known for their numerous photographs, researched facts, and great coverage of historical and cultural items, the "Insight Guides" series has covered almost every nation on earth with wonderfully. Their "Insight Guide to Puerto Rico" was especially much more fascinating to me since they covered a lot of things and places I did not know about my homeland.
Beautifully binded, full of colorful photographs and drawings, and informative, this guide allowed me to explore more towns, sites, and places that are usually off the beaten track for a normal tourist. Their coverage of Puerto Rico's satellite islands: Vieques, Culebra, and Mona, was very interesting, and I was happy to see Mona in photographs, because it is rarely captured in photographs.
The chapters on Old San Juan, Ponce, and the Karst Country were also all informative and refreshing, making my trip much more entertaining. From the island's plethora of important rum distilleries (world's biggest producer of rum) to a brief discussion on local dialect, the editorial staff at "Insight Guides" did an excellent job of representing this beautiful Caribbean island in all its' splendor.
If you are looking for the best travel guides to Puerto Rico, this book and "Lonely Planet's Guide to Puerto Rico" are the two best travel books to this island. Don't forget to pick them up before your next visit to the island.

Reviews: A review by Hammockman I've literally been around the world backpacking with Lonely Planet guides and like them a lot for budget travel. This is my first experience with Moon and I like this one better. I also ordered the Lonely Planet Cuba guide at the same time and they were released in October and November, '06 so they're comparable in that sense. The Moon is a little heavier which is a consideration if you're traveling light, but that's not insurmountable.

Reviews: A review by Miriam Kairey I just returned from a trip to New Providence island (Nassau). The reviews were honest and reliable. We found a great restaurant from the book (it is called Sun and...)The book helps the traveller find the real Bahamas, as opposed to the Bahamas represented by the Atlantis resort which I call Disney Bahamas. One thing that was lacking was information regarding customs. We wanted to take liquor back to the states and the book referred us to some pamphlet online. We were in the Bahamas and had no access to the internet. Be advised: it is now a hassle to take back liquor. You have to pass it through security, then send it to the plane. You are allowed 2 liters per person. If the liquor is Bahamian (like the excellent rum), you can take more. If you like clever and funny guidebooks, this is not it. But it did the trick and it has encouraged me to return to other Bahamian islands and explore.
